About me.
Hi, I’m Stuart.
I love writing. This picture is actually me colouring in, but at first glance, I probably look deep in thought.
People often ask where my passion lies, in scripts or stories or songs, like being a writer means I have to box myself into decades of repetition to get close to harnessing the true potential of the craft. Whilst I’m sure that’s partially true, I believe if you’re a writer, you can write. I thrive off of that diversity, and perhaps it’s from this eclectic mix of mediums that I have managed to find a unique voice.
It was this realisation that helped me reframe a childhood of skipping between hobbies without ever landing on something I felt I truly excelled at. Without those years of experimenting, I’d be much less enriched by the incredible wealth of variety I now experience in the people I love, the personalities I encounter, and the stories I embrace.
As such, I channel my expression into all sorts of things: lyrics, poetry, scripts, speeches, short stories, novels, erotica, memoirs, articles, podcasts, blogs. In short, if there’s a story that needs telling, I’m as content delivering it in song as I am in the crinkled pages of a well-read book.
